Jeremy Smart is the co-editor-in-chief of Design Anthology. Based in Tokyo, he is also a creative director, brand strategist and editorial consultant, delivering projects for a global roster of clients including Muji, Aesop, Louis Vuitton and Rosewood Hotels, through his role as Group Creative Director of Design Anthology’s bespoke services arm.

Previously based in Hong Kong and Melbourne, Smart brings an international perspective and 14 years of experience working at the intersection of media and design, helping brands better tell their story to the culturally-conscious, globally-minded audiences that matter.

Smart is also a commentator on design, travel and urbanism, writing for the likes of Nikkei Asia and The Sydney Morning Herald. He’s produced photojournalism for The Guardian and Al Jazeera and speaks and moderates at conferences, summits and events.
